EDD MENTOR

Andres and I were very fortunate to have the chance to be mentored by Merl Prichard while working on our prototype. He has done a phenomenal job in working with us to understand audio systems to a better degree, despite not possessing the most experience with them.

Merl Prichard is a Project Manager at Image Engineering Group, a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Firm that primarily works in K12 construction. Merl’s career in engineering began with Project Lead the Way programs in High School at Arlington Lamar. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, Merl began working as an MEP designer at IEG, focusing on Geothermal Heating and Cooling systems, Life Cycle Cost Analysis of Mechanical Systems, and Storm Shelter design. In the last 6 years, Merl has completed the Mechanical and Electrical system designs for a variety of spaces, spanning from 3,000 square foot retail stores, to 300,000 square foot High Schools, and has managed projects across the country. Merl is a credentialed EIT in the State of Texas.
