Deep Blue (3/16/21-3/22/21)

After realizing that the deadline for the final product is less than a month away, I know that I have to seriously bring out 200% of my effort. I have two engineering projects and their subsequent final presentations culminating around that point, in addition to studying for my AP exams, preparing for college, and the various other aerospace-related competitions I am participating in outside of school. Things will only get worse as I enter college, so conquering the challenge of managing my time effectively is something I must do this year. In terms of progress on my final product, I have encountered a bit of a roadblock with modelling, something I didn’t think I would be struggling with, so I will likely be asking for some assistance from Daniel. I think it will be an obstacle that I shall easily overcome, so the next phase - testing and finalization will be the most exciting part of my project, since it’s something new and the field in which Daniel specializes in. I also want to change my product proposal a little so that it is more helpful to me, in regards to eliminating the idea of a guide to creating my final product and more of a general overview of my mentorship that summarizes all of my learnings from my mentor, what I comprehended as i worked on my final product, and the experiences I had during my ISM journey. Anyway, I got to keep moving forward, so I’ll keep it brief. Now that challenges are surfacing all around me, I can’t wait to see how much deeper I will have to reach within myself to rise to the occasion.
