This week I felt a bit pressured to get my stuff together and make a great degree of progress on my final product. Since AP exams and my major engineering projects (including my ISM final product) are just around the corner, my workload is increasing immensely. Anyway, that was just a message for myself to stop messing about and get to getting. This week I cleaned up my model, adding various details to the external surface to accurately portray what a spacecraft looks like, and I am revising my understanding of how to utilize the structural and thermal analysis tools in Fusion 360 just to ensure that testing proceeds smoothly. Since we just wrapped up with decision analysis in regards to spacecraft frame selection, Daniel recommended me to attend the INCOSE March Tutorial involving Decision Analysis for Systems Engineers, which largely brought to my attention the depth and breadth of decision making in engineering. Learning from the cream of the crop of engineers while being surrounded by brilliant minds currently employed in a field of engineering and playing influential roles in their companies truly inspired me to pay close attention to every facet of the tutorial. I hope to partake in such tutorials from here on out because I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would, despite it being through a Zoom meeting. Perhaps I will consider taking on more of these courses in the near future out of interest.
